Where Healing Meets Compassion

Choosing Alchemy of Compassion means choosing sustainable change

Our Mission: Cultivating Self-Compassion

Alchemy of Compassion was created to provide a healing refuge for participants to explore and embrace all aspects of themselves with the support of psychedelic medicines, ancient wisdom traditions, and mind and body practices to facilitate an opening to profound and deep-seated Self-compassion. In embracing full compassion for all aspects of ourselves and our experiences, we can extend this same compassion out into the world, midwifing the birth of a human consciousness in which all life is held and honored equally.

Alchemy of Compassion melds ancient wisdom traditions, psychedelic practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Transpersonal, Somatic, Wilderness and Art therapies, neuroscience, mindful-movement, sound healing, and guided writing practices with personalized care in the form of clinical and medical support to catalyze healing through accessing your innate wisdom. Our mental health retreats welcome people from all walks of life

Why Alchemy of Compassion?

Safe and Legal Location in Colorado

Our retreat center is located in the state of Colorado, where ketamine-assisted psychotherapy is legal. Our retreat center is located within the Colorado Rocky Mountains, giving our retreatants tranquil, peaceful, and grounded access to nature, promoting safety and healing.

Personalized Care

Our retreats have been thoughtfully crafted for the most access to support throughout the journey. Before the retreat, each participant will meet with the lead facilitators. During the retreat there will be 1 facilitator for every 5 participants. This allows each person to form a relationship with the facilitator and get personalized care and support during the journey.

Expert Screening Process

We take great care in reviewing each applicant’s personal, medical, and psychiatric history (with your consent) to ensure the safest and most supportive experience possible. In some cases, participation might pose risks due to potential drug interactions or other health concerns, in which we may recommend alternative paths to healing.

Access to Medical Care

Though all of our facilitators are licensed professionals, each retreat also has one designated medical provider on-site at all times. This ensures a deeper sense of safety for all of the participants and promises that all the facilitators will be available through the duration of the journey without any potential interruptions

Certified and Trauma-Informed Care

All of our facilitators are Trauma-informed and IFS trained. The majority of our facilitators are experienced in KAP and/or other psychedelic therapies. We have carefully selected a diverse group of practitioners who have a deep sense of care and personal integrity to healing.

Intentional Protocols and Holistic Healing

What makes our program at Alchemy of Compassion so unique is how we’ve melded the Western and Eastern approach to healing. When clinical and ancient healing modalities are layered, participants can access a profound sense of Self-compassion and self-honoring.

A program shaped by experiences and expertise

Why We’re Committed to This Work

All of our facilitator team has been personally impacted by working with psychedelic substances and indigenous healing practices, creating a sense of responsibility within each of us to share this work safely and effectively through the lens of our main modality of Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Though ketamine is not an indigenous medicine, it can awaken the Self in similar and meaningful ways. Because of this, we treat our retreats with the same respect and care, allowing each participant to feel divinely held as well as clinically supported by our care team.

We believe that intentional and safe practice with psychedelics can be deeply transformative guiding the growth you seek to enrich your relationships, heal emotional wounds, and explore the farthest reaches of your consciousness.
